Marc Egerson scored a game high 33 points, on 6-11 from three point range, to lift the Saint John Mill Rats to a critical 104-97 road win against the Quebec Kebs.
Anthony Anderson's three 3 pointers in the first quarter helped Saint John maintain and 27-21 lead. The Kebs came back and took a 46-44 halftime lead.
"This was a game of runs, both teams held multiple 6-7 point leads and the other team was able to bounce back. We were able to do that at the end which sealed the win", stated Mill Rats Head Coach Jaren Jackson.
In addition to Egerson's 33, Anthony Anderson scored 21, Terry Martin 20, and Steve Deluca 11. Royce Parren led the Kebs with 23.
All three Canadian teams posted 1-1 records over the weekend. The Mill Rats record improves to 6-5. Quebec drops to 8-4 and Halifax 7-4.
Saint John hits the road next for a Thursday match up at Rochester, before returning home next Sunday to play host to the Kentucky Bluegrass Stallions.
