
Edmonton Energy beats Portland Chinooks in IBL basketball to move to 7-4 on the season

The Edmonton Energy raced out to a huge lead and never looked back in a win over the Portland Chinooks
The large crowd enjoyed the Energy's high flying dominance as they led 74 to 47 at the half and the Energy won 158 to 126.
With the largest crowd of the season loving every minute of it, the Energy defense was able to hold NBA caliber guard, Mac Hopson to 10 points lower then the night before, yet he still managed to drop 41 points, but that was not enough as the Energy won 158 to 126. In doing so the Energy converted over 15 dunks in the win. The Edmonton Energy were led by Jeff Ferguson with 21 points and 8 rebounds- and- Curtis Nash who also contributed 21 points. Casey Crawford added another 21 points. Rashaun Broadus contributed 20 points to go along with 8 assists.
Having strong games for the Chinooks were Brian Morris with 34 points and Lawrence Tyson with 24.
The two teams finish off the three game series in Lloydminster at Lakeland College tomorrow/Saturday night at 7:30
