
ECHL Announces Fines
April 26, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fines.
Ontario's Bigos fined
Ontario's Kyle Bigos has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #H-5, Ontario at Colorado, on April 24.
Bigos was assessed a major penalty for boarding at 15:39 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Florida's Cornell fined
Florida's Mike Cornell has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #C-5, Florida at Orlando, on April 25.
Cornell is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions following the game.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
