Easton Becomes Partner of the CHL
Published on May 22, 2010 under Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Easton Sports, a division of Easton-Bell Sports, Inc., has become an official partner of the CHL. The agreement with Easton makes them one of the exclusive equipment options for sticks, pants and gloves for teams and players to choose between for the 2010-11 season.
"We are excited to welcome Easton as an equipment supplier to our teams and players," said Duane Lewis, CHL Commissioner. "Our players will now have even more of an opportunity to be outfitted and play with the top lines in sports and more specifically hockey equipment. This partnership further solidifies the league's brand and the level of hockey we have achieved and are continually looking to improve on."
Easton Hockey ranks atop the industry in sticks and gloves and is growing faster in skates than any other company. Despite having been in existence for only 20 years, Easton Hockey has climbed the ladder quickly among NHL and amateur level players. They are choosing Easton products because of their innovation, technology and dedication to the same successful strategy that catapulted the company to the forefront of the baseball/softball industry.
"It is evident from watching hockey at all levels, from the NHL to the Olympics to games at local rinks, that Easton has become the premier hockey brand," said Ned Goldsmith, Senior Vice President of Easton Hockey. "We look forward to expanding this relationship throughout the season and watching the CHL continue to grow in popularity."
