Thursday, February 12th Eastern Professional Hockey League Game Day Preview (Thursday is a "Hockey Night in Danbury")

Jersey Rockhoppers (19-12-1) @ Danbury Mad Hatters (16-13-1): 7:00pm Location: Danbury Arena, Danbury, CT * Ninth meeting of the season series. The series is tied 4-4 after eight games. * Last game: January 29th: Jersey defeated Danbury 7-5. Chris Ferazzoli had two goals and an assist and Rich Jondo scored the game winner for the Rockhoppers. Erik Kent had a goal and two assists for the Mad Hatters. * Jersey is 7-3-0 in their last ten games while Danbury is 6-4-0. Danbury starts Thursday night six points behind the second place Rockhoppers. * Danbury is the most penalized team in the EPHL with 1026 penalty minutes. Jersey is the least penalized club with 608 pims. * Danbury may have fifteen year NHL defenseman Jeff Norton in the line-up on Thursday night. Norton, from Acton, Massachusetts, played for the Islanders, Sharks, Blues, Oilers, Lightning, Panthers, Penguins, and Bruins. * Both teams meet again this coming Saturday night in West Orange, New Jersey.
