Brooklyn Aces (17-2-2) @ Hudson Valley Bears (2-16-0): 7:30pm
Location: Ice Time Sports Complex, Newburgh, NJ
* Hudson Valley won their second game of the year Friday night, defeating the Jersey Rockhoppers 3-2 in the shootout. The Bears Scott Estey scored the game winner in the shootout.
John Geverd & Chris Clark scored the other Hudson Valley goals.
* Brooklyn lost in overtime 6-5 at Danbury on Friday evening.
* This is the seventh game in the season series. The Aces have won the first six games including last Sunday's (1/4) 10-5 win in Poughkeepsie.
* In last Sunday's contest, Mike Christensen & Jesse Felten each scored two goals for the Aces. Scott Estey scored 2 goals and an assist for Hudson Valley and John Geverd also had a three point night (1 goal & 2 assists).

Danbury Mad Hatters (9-8-1) @ Jersey Rockhoppers (10-8-1): 7:30pm
Location: Essex County Richard J. Codey Arena @ South Mountain, West Orange, NJ
* Danbury defeated first place Brooklyn 6-5 in overtime on Friday night to close to within two points of the second place Jersey Rockhoppers. Duane Whitehead scored the game winner in overtime for the Mad Hatters.
* This is the sixth meeting of the season series. Danbury leads the series 3-2. Ironically, two games in the season series had to be postponed earlier in the season. Both games are scheduled to be made-up in February.
* The Mad Hatters won the last game 4-3 last Sunday (1/4) in Danbury. Obi Aduba scored twice and Mykul Haun & Igor Karlov added goals for the 'Hatters. Logan Bittle, Tom Boudreau, and Alex Hager scored for the Rockhoppers.
* Jersey heads to Hudson Valley on Sunday night to close out the weekend.
* Did you know that the Essex County Richard J. Codey Arena @ South Mountain formerly was the training facility for the NHL New Jersey Devils?
