The Chillicothe Paints (20-24) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 3-2 to the Terre Haute Rex (28-16) on Tuesday.
While the Chillicothe Paints led until the fifth inning, the Terre Haute Rex worked their way back and took the lead on an error.
Damian Helm picked up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Helm allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.
Brendan Burns (4-2) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
