Dynamo Men Announce 2004 Schedule

Today the Carolina Dynamo announced their 2004 schedule for their Men's PDL franchise. The Dynamo men open up at home on Friday May 7 at 7:30 PM against divisional opponent the West Virginia Chaos. The Dynamo will compete in the Mid Atlantic Division of the Premier Development League (PDL).

Other divisional opponents include Chesapeake, Raleigh, Richmond and Williamsburg. Included on the schedule are arch rivals the Charlotte Eagles and defending USL-Pro Select League Champions the Wilmington Hammerheads.

Four of the Dynamos first five matches will double as U.S. Open Cup qualifying matches. Dating back to 1914 the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is the oldest cup competition in United States Soccer and is among the oldest in the World. Open to all affiliated amateur and professional teams in the U.S., the annual U.S. Open Cup is a 90 year-old single-elimination tournament.

The 2004 season also sees the Dynamo men and Women's team playing five doubleheader matches where the Dynamo Women will play at 5:30 PM with the Dynamo Men immediately following.

All home games are played at Macpherson Stadium at the Bryan Park Soccer Complex.
