Amarillo Venom News Release
AMARILLO, TEXAS The Amarillo Dusters helped to prepare 4th graders at Arden Road Elementary School for their upcoming TAX tests.
The students will begin their testing tomorrow. The teachers put together a pep rally for their students to get them pumped for the tests. Dusters Craig Fulton, Jared Williams, and Gerald Washington took the time to visit the kids.
"Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do it," wide receiver Craig Fulton told the students. "You have to focus and do your best."
The students listened to Fulton, Williams, and Washington, and then watched a slide show that the teachers created that showed each of the students preparing for the tests.
"It's important that that we support our community in every way we can as a Dusters organization," said vice president, Joe Morgado. "Our players are in a unique position to positively effect these students' lives."
Students from all over the state of Texas will be taking TAX tests over the next week.
The Dusters return home this weekend to take on the Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz for the War on I-40. Tickets are on sale now through the Dusters Box Office at 806.350.7277, www.panhandletickets.com or and Panhandle Tickets outlet. For more information, visit www.dustersfootball.com.
