Dusters to hold dance team tryouts October 19

Amarillo, TX 10/2/08 - The Amarillo Dusters of the arenafootball2 league announced Thursday that tryouts for the 2009 Dusters dance team will be held later this month.
Those wanting to try out should be in attendance October 19 at the Amarillo Civic Center's Regis Room from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each dancer must bring $25 (personal checks will not be accepted) and a front-view headshot.
Participants will be competing for 20 spots on the 2009 squad. Dusters dance team members from 2008 will also have to try out for the 2009 team, as no dancers will be guaranteed a spot on the roster.
Dancers should wear dance pants or shorts, dance shoes or tennis shoes, and sports bras or tank tops that display the mid-drift. Tryouts are open to dancers ages 18 or older.

THE AMARILLO DUSTERS are a member of the arenafootball2 league. The team front office is now located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo. Season ticket packages for 2009 are available by calling (806) 350-PASS (7277), and start at just $96 a seat.
