Amarillo Venom News Release
AMARILLO, TEXAS The Amarillo Dusters are back at home after three weeks of being on the road. The team also had their first bye week of the season. The Dusters will be taking on division rivals, the Arkansas Twisters.
"It's always great to come home after spending a few weeks on the road," head coach Chris MacKeown said. "There is nothing better than playing in front of Amarillo fans."
The Dusters will spend the next three out of four weeks at home, facing the Arkansas Twisters on June 7, the Rio Grande Valley Dorados on June 14, and the Tulsa Talons on June 28.
"We have an opportunity to perform in front of our home crowd against some tough teams and really show them what we are made of week after week," MacKeown said.
This weekend's game on June 7 will feature a mini football game at halftime by the West Texas Youth Football League. Fans in attendance will receive a set of Thunderstix, sponsored by Budweiser and of course, be eligible to win other prizes and giveaways.
Tickets start at just $16 and are on sale now. Call the Dusters Box Office
