Drillers to Host Wichita and Arkansas in 9-Game Home Stand

The Tulsa Drillers will play a game at ONEOK Field for the first time in over two weeks when they meet the Wichita Wind Surge on Friday, July 22. It will be the opening game of what will be a nine-game home stand over ten days.
The Drillers will host the Wind Surge in a three-game set from July 22-24. After an off day on July 25, Tulsa will host the Arkansas Travelers for six games from July 26-31.
All games in the home stand will begin at 7:05 p.m. with two exceptions. The two Sunday games, on July 24 and July 31, will both start at 1:05 p.m.
The entire home stand will be loaded with promotions, including 918 Weekend proudly presented by Chick-fil-A Tulsa July 22-24. That series will feature Fireworks Shows on both Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23. The Drillers will wear special-edition 918 jerseys for all three of the games.
The series with the Travelers will include Latino Night and a Drillers Sugar Skull Bobblehead giveaway on Thursday, July 28. A Marvel themed Friday Night Fireworks return on July 29, followed by a Drillers back-to-school backpack giveaway on Saturday, July 30. The final game of the home stand on Sunday, July 31 will feature Christmas in July.

The three-game series with the Wind Surge could determine the winner of this year's Coors Light Propeller Series. The Drillers have won 11 of their first 15 meetings with the Surge this year and need two more wins to clinch the season series. The Propeller Trophy is awarded to the team that wins the season series between the two rivals with Wichita winning the trophy last year on a tiebreaker.
Tulsa is just 2-4 against the Travelers this year.

It is 918 Weekend in DrillVille as we celebrate everything that is great about Tulsa! For three straight games the Drillers will wear specialty designed 918 Uniforms. The big homestand begins with a Busch Scoreboard Bar Happy Hour from 6-7 p.m. where 20-oz. domestic draft beers can be purchased for just $4 each and craft drafts can be purchased for $6 each. SCOTT TAYLOR LIVE PAINTING
Tulsa area artist Scott Taylor will produce a one-of-a-kind ONEOK Field and Tulsa Skyline painting on the concourse during the game! The finished painting will be available in a silent auction during the game with the proceeds benefitting the Diamond Dreams Foundation.
MIKE COOLBAUGH REMEMBRANCE
The Drillers will pay tribute to the club's former player and coach, Mike Coolbaugh, on the 15th anniversary of his death. Mike was tragically killed on July 22, 2007 when struck by a foul ball while coaching first base for the Drillers. The Drillers team will wear special #29 armbands and a tribute will be shown on the video board.

Prior to the game, all youth baseball and softball players are invited to participate in the PSO Youth Skills Clinic. The Union Home Mortgage First Base Gate will open at 11:30 a.m. so young players can go on the field to learn baseball skills straight from the Drillers, compliments of PSO.
SANDLOT BASEBALL
Fans will want to stick around after the Drillers game to watch the Tulsa Breeze take on the Tulsa Outlaws in a sandlot baseball game.

Come enjoy a game with your furry friend on Paws and $3 White Claws night presented by City of Tulsa: Save Our Streams, City Vet Hospital, 94.1 KXOJ and 100.9 KTSO. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game and enjoy the action from the Ferguson KIA Lawns or the Budweiser Terrace. Dogs do not need tickets but must have a record of up-to-date rabies vaccinations and can enter with their owners through the Union Home Mortgage First Base Gate or the Oil Derrick Gate. DOG PARADE
Dogs and their owners get the opportunity to walk a lap around the field in a pre-game dog parade. Lineup for the parade will start at 6:15 p.m. at Hornsby's Hangout on the left field concourse, with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. Every dog that participates will receive a free flying disk, courtesy of Pet Supplies Plus.
