Doug Miller Earns Fifth Team of the Week Honor

(Rochester, NY) -- The Rochester Lancers are proud to announce forward Doug Miller has been named to the MISL Team of the Week for the fifth time this season. His electrifying 11-point game propelled the Lancers to a dominating win over Missouri in front of over 10,000 fans at the Blue Cross Arena.
Through twelve weeks of play, the Lancers hold the league's top two goal scorers, including the coveted top spot in total goals and points held by Lancers forward Doug Miller. Lancers Brazilian striker, Mauricio Salles is in second overall. Miller sits atop the league standings with 35 goals and 83 total points. Salles has scored 24 goals and 67 total points thus far this season.
The Rochester Lancers' Reserve team, Lancers2, will debut tonight for their first game of the season. The game kicks off at 6pm at the Rochester Sports Garden. Entry is free. With over thirty years of local coaching experience, the Lancers2 are coached by Bill Ginther.
West Webster FD tribute t-shirts will be available through Wednesday, January 30 at midnight. Shirts are $20 and all proceeds benefit the families of the fallen firefighters. Shirts can be ordered online at www.rochesterlancers.com. The Lancers efforts have amounted to over $25,000 to date.
