Laredo Law News Release


LAREDO, Texas – The Rio Grande Valley Dorados beat the Laredo Law 37-6 at the Dodge Arena in the inaugural game for each team. The Dorados defensive line accounted for multiple sacks in the game. Rio Grande Valley is 1-0 while the Law falls to 0-1. Laredo is on the road in Wichita on April 10th. The Law home opener is set for April 23rd at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Trailing 7-0 the Laredo Law scored their lone touchdown late in the first quarter when quarterback Josh Rogers fired a 45-yard strike to offensive specialist Martino Theus. The Law missed the extra point and the Dorados reeled off 30 unanswered points to close the scoring.

Law defensive specialist Aaron Fletcher had several pass defenses and an interception.

af2 ON NBC

With af2's Fifth Anniversary season underway this weekend, a special feature is scheduled to air during the AFL on NBC Wendy's Halftime Show this Sunday, the league office announced today. Featuring interviews with current and former af2 players and key league staff, the piece will also show various highlights from af2's first four seasons.
