Dodge City Law News Release
Head Coach Sean Ponder, of the Dodge City Law, is happy to announce the signing of Keahn Wallace for the 2016 season of Professional Indoor Football at United Wireless Arena. Wallace is a 6'2" 225 lbs. QB out of Johnson C. Smith University in North Carolina. His many accomplishments include:
- 2-Time CIAA All-Conference
- CIAA Rookie of the Year
- Played in 40 Games
- Hold numerous School Records
- FCS National Bowl- Passed for 3 TD's
- Attended the Super Regional NFL Combine
- NFL Mini Camp Carolina Panthers
Keahn is a high caliber player and individual; he has a ton of experience as the leader of the offense, which is exactly what this team needs. He has the ability to put the ball in the right place and makes a very clean pass when he is under pressure. He can make just about any throw you ask him to and he has a good deep ball and throws accurate short routes.
Coach Ponder says, "We will be bringing in other QBs to compete for the position as well because for us to be successful this season we have to be able to throw the football, we know we can run the ball well but we have to utilize all the athletes on the field. For the past 2 seasons we have only averaged 136 passing yards per game and 31 passing TDs total. Which is smaller numbers than I have ever had in my coaching career and that just isn't going to work anymore."
