Diamond Elite is very excited to welcome the Washington Glory's Nichole Thompson to our staff of professional softball instructors
Nichole most recently spent the 2008 season as an assistant coach with the Glory after suffering a season-ending knee injury on the first day of practice in May. Nichole was predicted to be the starting second baseman after her selection to the 2007 NPF All-Star Team and helping the Glory to win the 2007 NPF Championship.
Nichole is currently in full recovery from her knee surgery and looking forward to stepping back onto the field for the Washington Glory in 2009. As an instructor for Diamond Elite, she brings extensive knowledge of the game and experience at the highest levels of softball.

Fall Clinics with Nichole Thompson
Hitting Clinic
Improve your hitting skills and work with All-Pro Nichole Thompson of the Washington Glory. The hitting clinics will include five one-hour sessions of professional instruction in a small group environment.
Register quickly as each session is limited to only 6 participants!
Clinics will be held on Mondays
September 15, 22, 29, October 6 & 13
Cost $150
Session 1: 4:30-5:30pm Ages 8-12 with 0-3 years of experience
Session 2: 5:30-6:30pm Ages 8-14 with minimum of 1-2 years of travel ball experience
Session 3: 6:30-7:30pm Ages 14-18 with minimum of 3-4 years of travel ball experience
*Experience levels are suggested for each session as a guide to receiving appropriate instruction for skill level.

Register for Hitting Clinic with Nichole Thompson
Short Game Clinic
Nichole's Short Game Clinic is designed for left handed slappers looking to improve their skills. The focus will include basic footwork, upper body fundamentals, mental approach to situations and pitch selection. Mechanics of the drag bunt, soft slap, power slap, and chop slap will be covered.
The clinic will include five one-hour sessions of professional instruction in a small group environment.

Session 1: Tuesdays - 5:00-6:00pm
Ages 8-14
This session is designed for players with house league and 0-2 years of travel experience.
September 16, 23, 30, October 7 & 14
Session 2: Wednesdays - 5:00-6:00pm
Ages 12-18
This session is designed for players with at least 2 years of travel ball experience.
September 17, 24, October 1, 8 & 15
