January 8, 2021 - Premier Hockey Federation (PHF)
Metropolitan Riveters News Release
The Devils will join the New York Rangers, New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun in the stands to cheer on the Riveters in Lake Placid at the end of the January.
"I'm used to watching the Devils from the stands in Newark, so it will be cool to have the roles reversed," said Riveters veteran all-star defender Rebecca Morse, a New Jersey native and life-long Devils fan. "It means a lot to me and my teammates to have the support of our male counterparts in the NHL and from the great state of New Jersey."
P.K. Subban, Nico Hischier and Jack Hughes will be showing their support from the seats in Herb Brooks Arena during the NWHL season and Isobel Cup Playoffs.
"The Riveters organization is thrilled to welcome the New Jersey Devils to the NWHL bubble," said Riveters general manager Kate Whitman Annis. "With the support of these incredible NHL players, we look forward to bringing the Isobel Cup back home to New Jersey."
The Devils are just the latest to join the growing ranks of support around the Riveters and the NWHL. Want to sit next to a Liberty, Devils or Rangers player? If might happen, so get your fan cutout now by clicking the link and you could see your face on the sidelines.
