Wichita Force News Release
WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Force announced today that Shanice Davis will fill the assistant general manager position following the announcement that former assistant general manager, Tyler Soliday, has been named general manager.
"I am pleased that Shanice has accepted the position of Assistant General Manager for the Force," Marv Fisher, managing partner, said. "She did an excellent job last season and was a natural choice for the Assistant GM position. She proved to be not only a highly motivated staffer, but her desire to provide the best possible indoor football experience for the fans is to be commended."
As a lifelong Wichitan and graduate of Derby High School, Davis has been highly involved in the community. She is currently attending Wichita State University studying sport management and will earn her bachelor's degree in December.
"I am grateful to the Wichita Force ownership group, (former general manager) Ashley and Force Nation for believing in my abilities to serve as the assistant general manager," Davis said. "Everything that I have worked for up until this point is beginning to paying off. I am ready to give back to a city and community that has already given so much to me."
Throughout the team's inaugural season, Davis served as a sales representative in which she focused primarily on ticket sales and operations as well as managed community appearances for the team. During home and away contests, she managed the team's official social media pages and write post-game press releases.
"I'm excited to have Shanice on board for next season," Soliday said. "As an intern last season, she excelled in a number of jobs and has earned her new role with the team."
