Dave Joerger Coaches CBA National Team to Victory in CBA All- Star Classic

MILFORD, CT – The United States Basketball League, Inc. (USBL) was well represented in the CBA All- Star Classic held last night in Yakima, WA. The CBA National squad pulled out a come from behind victory, 105-103 on a last second put back.

Cedar Rapids River Raiders Head Coach Dave Joerger coached the National team to the victory after falling behind by as much as 22 in the third quarter. Leading the way for Joerger's National team was former ValleyDawg Leonard White with 16 points. Maurice Carter, former Texas Rim Rocker star, chipped in with 10 points.

Other USBL players making an impact included, Galen Young with 13 points, Immanuel McElroy, Shelly Clark, Jemeil Rich all with 8 points apiece. Jimmy "Snap" Hunter also had an excellent day at the All-Star Classic. Hunter, a former member of the St. Louis Skyhawks, held off six off contestants to capture the 3 point Long Distance Shootout, held before the All-Star Classic.

"These are great accomplishments for each of alumni. We wish them continued success during their season, and hope to see them on the court in the USBL this season," stated USBL Founder and Commissioner Daniel T. Meisenheimer III.
