NEW YORK - The Dallas Desperados (11-1) became the first team to clinch its division title and secure a first-round bye during the playoffs with their 56-47 victory over the Columbus Destroyers (6-6).
Dallas, who captured the Mitsubishi Motors Eastern Division for the second consecutive season, travels to the Wachovia Center to face the Philadelphia Soul (5-6) on Friday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET (FSN Southwest - Live, CSN Philadelphia - Delay, 6/2, at 7:30 p.m. ET, SIRIUS Radio - Channel 119).
