Jennings, now in his third year with the team, has been a part of the Evansville Bluecats since the beginning of the franchise. Originally from nearby Vincennes, Indiana, Dale graduated from Vincennes Lincoln High School before moving on to play for Butler University.

He led the Pioneer Football League with 20 touchdowns and finished the season as the third leading rusher with 973 yards. The 120 points he scored for the Bulldogs that season was the 3rd best in school history and he currently sits in 6th place on the schools all-time scoring list.

After his career at Butler, he joined the Bluecats in 2003 where his teammates voted him the first ever team MVP. In addition to running back, Jennings played several positions that year, including defense. Jennings recorded 10 solo tackles, 1 pass breakup, and 1 interception. On offense, he led the team with 44 pass reception and was second best on the team with 355 receiving yards.

Coach Guidry commented, "He's a quick, multi-talented back. This was a big game for Dale because he really showed what I always thought he could do. He made big plays, big runs, and had a big impact on the game. That's what we expect from Dale moving forward, we expect him to be an impact player for us this season."
