CT Tigers to Celebrate Pi Day March 14th

NORWICH, CT - For the fifth consecutive year, the Connecticut Tigers, Class-A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, are offering a special ticket promotion in celebration of "Pi Day" (after the mathematical constant of 3.14159...This March 14th between 9 am and 7 pm, the Dodd Stadium Box Office (in person, by phone and online at cttigers.com) will sell 2019 Opening Night reserved tickets for the special discounted price of $3.14. Opening Night for the Tigers' 2019 season is set for Sunday, June 16th as the Tigers take on the Vermont Lake Monsters (Oakland Athletics) at 7:05 pm with fireworks after the game!

This special offer will be the first opportunity for fans to purchase an individual game ticket for Opening Night. Individual game tickets for all 38 home games will go on sale in early April. "2019 marks the 10th season of Connecticut Tigers baseball and 25th season for baseball at Dodd Stadium," said Tigers General Manager Dave Schermerhorn. "This special Pi Day offer is a way for us to say Thank You to our fans as another offseason comes to an end and this anniversary season kicks off on Opening Night June 16th".
