Connecticut Tigers Release 2016 Schedule

NORWICH, CT- The New York-Penn League and the Connecticut Tigers have released the schedule for the upcoming 2016 season. The season will mark the seventh for the Tigers in Norwich at Dodd Stadium. The Tigers open up the 2016 season on the road on Friday, June 17th against the Tri-City ValleyCats (Astros affiliate). Opening Night at Dodd Stadium will come five nights later on Wednesday, June 22nd at 7:05 pm against the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets affiliate) with fireworks after the game!

Game time for Monday through Saturday home games will be 7:05 pm. Two exceptions will be Wednesday, July 13th at 11:05 am for Camp Day and Labor Day on Monday, September 5th at 1:05 pm. All Sunday home games will be at 4:05 pm. Individual game ticket prices will remain the same in 2016 with Premium Box Seats at $10 per ticket, Reserved Box Seats $9, and Grandstand Seats $8. Tickets to "The Yard" Bar & Grill also remain at $20.

Season tickets for the 2016 season are on sale now! You can become a member of the Tigers family by reserving your season tickets at a significant savings off the walk-up price. A Premium Box Seat for all 38 home games is just $350 per seat and a Reserved Box Seat just $275 per seat. In addition to initial savings, season ticket holders receive free parking and other exclusive benefits! The Tigers will play six Friday night home games during the summer of 2016, as well as six Saturdays and six Sundays. Connecticut will play six home games against the Lowell Spinners (Red Sox), three versus the Staten Island Yankees (Yankees), and three against the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets).

2016 will feature eight fireworks shows including six Friday Night Fireworks shows as well as fireworks on June 22nd (Opening Night) and July 4th. Each Saturday home game will feature a different premium giveaway item for the first 1,000 fans through the gates. A full list of 2016 promotions will be released in the months leading up to the start of the season.
