Comets Delevski Suspended

(Westport, CT. March 20, 2003) Major Indoor Soccer League Commissioner Steve Ryan has suspended and fined Kansas City Comets forward Dino Delevski for his actions in an incident during the game on February 28 with the San Diego Sockers in San Diego. The suspension is for one game and the amount of the fine is undisclosed. Delevski leads the MISL in scoring and was recently named the 2003 MISL All-Star Game's MVP.

Delevski will be able to travel with the Comets for the final weekend of the regular season. On Friday, March 21 the Comets travel to Milwaukee to play the Western Conference Champion Waves in what could be a preview of the Western Conference Championship game provided the Comets survive their upcoming playoff conference semi-final game against San Diego scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 in Kansas City.

On Sunday, March 23 the Comets go into Harrisburg to take on the Heat in the final regular season game for both teams Delevski will be eligible to play in the game in Harrisburg.
