
Columbia Players Declared Free Agents

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that, as outlined in the Collective
Bargaining Agreement with the Professional Hockey Players' Association and
with the exception of three players from the future considerations portion
of a Mar. 5 trade with Wheeling, all Columbia Inferno players are deemed
unrestricted free agents, effectively immediately.
The Inferno requested and received approval from the ECHL Board of
Governors for a Voluntary Suspension for the 2008-09 Season as the Member
continues to work diligently toward a new facility in Lexington County,
S.C.
