Colton Schmidt Ground Round Player of the Week

Our Ground Round Player of the week is number 14, forward, Colton Schmidt! Colton, Eden Prairie native, is the son of Dan and Kyra. Billet family is Dan and Suzanne Stluka. Colton's started out his 2014-15 season in Odessa playing 13 games there then was traded to the land of the Blizzard. He has played 13 games here currently with three points. Colton's goal for the season is to be a player the team can count on in all situations.
When we asked Colton to list his 10 favorite things number 1 on his list was his girlfriend. Number two was family. When he isn't on the ice he is catching up on his favorite hockey team, the Wild, taking naps, and hanging out with the boys while playing xbox.
Colton's favorite hockey memories are going to the Minnesota State High School hockey tournament with his team, the Eden Prairie Eagles. He also noted he enjoyed playing on the same line with his brother in high school.
After juniors he hopes to play college hockey while going to school to earn a Bachelor's degree. Be sure to come to the game this Friday to collect Colton's Ground Round Player of the Week trading card!!
