Colorado Rapids 2 Announce Year-End Roster Updates

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado Rapids 2 today announced several roster updates ahead of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season. Rapids 2 players Robinson Aguirre, Logan Batiste and Yosuke Hanya remain under contract for the upcoming season while the club exercised the contract option on team-leading goalscorer and MLS NEXT Pro Golden Boot winner Rémi Cabral.
The club declined options for goalkeeper Lars Helleren and midfielder Jackson Walti. Additionally, defender Blake Malone and midfielders Marlon Vargas and Dillon Serna are out of contract, while the loans of forward Caique de Brito and midfielder Daouda Amadou are set to expire at the end of the year. Rapids 2 remains in discussions with Amadou and Vargas ahead of the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season.
