Published on September 9, 2008 under National Lacrosse League (NLL) News Release
The best players in the world will convene again in Denver when the Colorado Mammoth hosts the 2009 National Lacrosse League All-Star Game on Saturday, March 7 at Pepsi Center. The Mammoth first hosted the NLL's midseason showcase in 2004, when the East Division All-Stars beat the West Division All-Stars 19-15 before a crowd of 16,742.
"Pepsi Center is one of the great venues for professional indoor lacrosse, and a great place to host our All-Star Game for the 2009 season", said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. "We have a great fan base in Denver, and we look forward to showcasing the world's greatest lacrosse players there on March 7th".
"We're very pleased to bring the All-Star Game back to Colorado," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "The players always put on a great show and we plan to make the entire weekend an unforgettable experience for the fans.
The 2009 All-Star Game logo and other details surrounding the game and weekend festivities will be announced in the near future.
