Cole, Byrnes, Kearns Named Players of the Week

Boston, MA - Bryan Cole and Liam Byrnes of the Atlanta Blaze have been named Warrior Players of the Week for their fine play in the teams 15-14 win over the Dallas Rattlers. Brendan Kearns of the New York Lizards was named Cascade Rookie of the Week after his performance against the Denver Outlaws.

Bryan Cole has been named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week after a six-point performance this weekend. Cole scored two goals and added four assists in the win. Cole is now fourth in the league with 36 goals and sixth in points with 49. Cole is a finalist for the Coca-Cola MLL MVP award as well as the Warrior Offensive Player of the Year award.

Liam Byrnes has been named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week after a strong all-around game in Frisco on Saturday. Brynes scored two goals, had an assist, scooped up two groundballs and caused four turnovers. Brynes is a finalist for the Warrior Defensive Player of the Year award.

Brendan Kearns of the New York Lizards has been named Cascade Rookie of the Week after his five-point performance against the Denver Outlaws. Kearns registered a hat trick to go along with 2 assists. This is Kearns' first Player of the Week honor this season.
