NEW YORK â Including Los Angeles' exciting last-second, one-point victory against San Jose last week, six of 16 games (38 percent) played have been decided by five points or less, continuing the trend of close, competitive finishes. By comparison, 29 of 112 regular-season contests (26 percent) were five-or-less point victories in 2002.
