
Cleveland's Austin Voted Week 19 AFL MVP

CHICAGO - Cleveland Gladiators quarterback Shane Austin has been voted AFL MVP for Week 19 of the 2014 NET10 Wireless Arena Football League season.
Austin (6-1, 200, Hawaii) completed 24-of-34 passes for 345 yards and six touchdowns in Cleveland's 62-20 victory over the Jacksonville Sharks in Week 19. It was his seventh consecutive game with a triple-digit passer rating. Austin is now six touchdown passes shy of John Dutton's single-season franchise record of 100.
Fans had 24 hours to vote for the AFL MVP award on ArenaFootball.com. Austin took home 72 percent of the fan vote, beating out fellow candidates Bernard Morris of the Orlando Predators and Erik Meyer of the Spokane Shock.
