"We're extremely excited to announce our 2008 schedule. The fans have been waiting for it and we feel like it is something special," said General Manager Mark Geissbauer. "The home opener with Pittsburgh should be a lot of fun and we hope to have many fans come out and enjoy our family friendly entertainment throughout the season. Last year was incredible when we went undefeated at home during the inaugural season. We have even more surprises installed for this year."

This year's USL-2 Playoff format will undergo a change. Six teams will now make the post-season, with the top two seeds receiving byes into the semi-finals. The opening round will be held Wednesday August 13th with the #3 seed playing the #6 seed and the #4 seed playing the #5 seed.
The winners of each match will advance to face the top two seeds on Saturday August 16th. The winner of the 4/5 game will play the #1 seed and the winner of the 3/6 game will play the #2 seed.
The winners of each semi-final match will advance to the USL-2 finals match on Saturday August 23rd. The championhsip will be broadcast by Fox Soccer Channel.
