Cleveland City Stars News Release
The Cleveland City Stars have announced the signings of two top players from Brazil, Adriano Sella and Jose (Ze) Barbosa. The two players will be available within the next week for Cleveland. Sella comes to the Stars from Brazil's First Division, while Barbosa is one of the countries' top young talents.
Sella, a 26-year old Midfielder, comes to Cleveland after playing most recently with Americano RJ of the Brazilian First Division. Originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil, Sella will add more top-level international experience to the Stars.
Barbosa, a 17-year old Forward, comes to the City Stars after playing with Palmeiras in Brazil. The young Brazilian is loaded with potential and looks to add a spark to the Stars front line while jumpstarting his own professional career.
"We're excited about both of these signings. We feel as though we will gain an impact immediately and in the long-term as well," said Cleveland Executive Director Aaron Tredway. "Adriano is the kind of guy we're looking to add to our roster because of his experience and high level of play at the first division level. With Ze, it is great to bring him in now because he has limitless potential. I look forward to seeing what these two can add to our team."
