
City Stars Host Montreal During Cleveland Soccer Legends Night

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland City Stars (2-14-7) return home Tuesday after a two-game road trip to battle the sixth place Montreal Impact (7-10-5).
All tickets for the match are available for a discounted five dollars. Tuesday will be Cleveland Soccer Legends Night featuring a halftime exhibition match between some of Cleveland's past soccer greats from the Crunch and the Force. The legends will also be available for a free post game autograph session.
Media partner WKNR 850-ESPN Radio will be on hand during the match with radio personality Munch Bishop serving as the guest public address announcer and Munch and his fellow personalities from WKNR taking on the legends during the halftime exhibition.
It will be the second match of the season between the two clubs as Montreal defeated Cleveland 4-1 in Montreal in late July. Pato Aguilera scored the lone goal for the City Stars on an assist from Ryan Stewart. Eduardo Sebrango scored two goals and Ciaran O'Brian recorded a goal and an assist for the Impact while Joey Gjertsen scored the fourth goal. Pierre-Rudolph Mayard, Leonardo Di Lorenzo, and Stephen deRoux all recorded assists for the Impact.
Cleveland enters the match in 11th place in the USL First Division. The City Stars are led by Aguilera. The 29-year old native of Bolivia leads the City Stars in games played (23), points (11), goals (3), and assists (5). Aguilera's 23 games played and five assists are both good for second in the league while his 11 points are tenth best in USL-1.
Montreal enters the match tied for sixth place and needs a point to maintain its playoff pace. Forward Roberto Brown leads the Impact with 12 points and five goals. Brown's 12 points are seventh best in the league and his five goals are good for sixth place. Sebrango is second on the club with four goals and midfielder Rocco Placentino leads Montreal with five assists and is tied with Aguilera for second place in USL-1.
Montreal defender Adam Braz is on the current USL Team of the Week for his performance in leading the Impact to a 1-0 defeat of the Minnesota Thunder on August 9th. Following the shutout of the Thunder, the Impact have lost its last two matches 1-0 to the Portland Timbers and Puerto Rico Islanders.
