
City Stars Finish Up Road Trip

Cleveland City Stars News Release
The Cleveland City Stars play the final two games of a six game road trip this weekend. During the trip, the City Stars have jumped into second place in the USL-2 table with first place now within striking distance.
Heading into tonight's match at Crystal Palace Baltimore (5-3, 15 points), Cleveland is 5-1-3 with 18 points, just two points behind first place Charlotte. The match-up with Crystal Palace Baltimore is the first of the season for the two teams. Baltimore has a chance to tie Cleveland in the standings with a victory, while the City Stars could jump Charlotte for first place with a win.
Immediately following tonight's match, Cleveland will travel north to Pittsburgh for a 7:05 PM kickoff on Saturday. Cleveland is 2-0 against its new rival from Pittsburgh so far this season and Saturday's match will offer another opportunity for the City Stars to improve in the standings. Pittsburgh sits in last place in the USL-2 with a 0-6-3 record.
Cleveland returns home next Friday June 20th for a 7 PM match at Krenzler Stadium with the Wilmington Hammerheads.
