Chris Affinati and Rob Schweyer Signed for 2010-2011 Season

Battle Creek, Michigan-The Battle Creek Revolution Professional Hockey Club is excited to announce the signings of player-assistant coach, Rob Schweyer, and team captain, Chris Affinati, for the 2010-2011 All American Hockey League season.

"Rob and Chris was the backbone of this team this past season and are excited to be back in the Cereal City for the upcoming season, stated BC Revs co-owner, Bob Clouston.

Rob Schweyer was the 2009-2010 AAHL defensive player of the year. Rob posted 28 points in 30 games this past season with the BC Revolution. Rob has played in the UHL, ECHL, CHL, ACHL, WHA2, and the AAHL.

"Rob is a force on the ice and will also provide leadership to the team on and off the ice," said BC Revs general manager, David Darkey.

Chris Affinati had a fantastic first season with the BC Revs scoring 44 points in 45 regulars season games. Chris also accumulated 149 penalty minutes during the 2010-2011 AAHL season. Chris has played in the WHA2, SPHL, UHL, CHL, and the AAHL.

"Chris is a player of high character that will make the organization successful both on and off the ice," said BC Revolution general manager, David Darkey.
