Chicago Slaughter 2010 Tryout Date Announced

Hoffman Estates, Ill. - The Chicago Slaughter of the Continental Indoor Football League, are extending an invitation to athletes 18 and older looking to demonstrate their skills and begin a professional football career with the Slaughter. The Slaughter are entering their fourth season in the CIFL and play all home games at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX Champion and 14-year NFL veteran Steve "Mongo" McMichael is the head coach and will be joined by the Slaughter coaching staff, who will all help in evaluating new talent for the 2010 season.
Tryouts will be held at Finish Strong Sportsplex on Saturday, November 14th from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with registration from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Finish Strong is a state-of-the-art, indoor sports facility located at 551 W. Roosevelt Rd., in West Chicago, Illinois.
The free agent camp is $50 dollars per person. Athletes of all skill levels are encouraged to tryout and live their dream of becoming a professional football player. Players must bring their own workout attire and cleats for the indoor facility.
"We are excited about offering this once in a lifetime opportunity to these players," said Alan Perkins, general manager of the Slaughter. "It is imperative for our team to look at every prospect that comes our way. You can never tell where the next great player will come from."
