February 7, 2011

Bato Radoncic, Chicago Riot

Riot forward Bato Radoncic tallied four goals and eight points as he led Chicago to a 16-12 victory over the Missouri Comets on Sunday at the Odeum Sports and Expo Center in Villa Park, Ill. Two of Radoncic's goals came during the fourth quarter as the Riot outscored the Comets, 8-0, in the final 15 minutes to overcome a 12-8 deficit. The win put an end to Chicago's three-game losing streak. Radoncic moved into the top 10 among the league scoring leaders. He is tied for ninth in the MISL with 27 points and he leads the Riot with 11 goals.

About the Major Indoor Soccer League

The MISL represents the Major League of professional indoor soccer in the United States and features the finest indoor soccer players from around the world. The league currently has five member clubs for the 2010-11 season: the Baltimore Blast, Chicago Riot, Milwaukee Wave, Missouri Comets and the Omaha Vipers. The 2010-11 regular season began on November 12 and will end on March 13. The postseason will begin the following week and conclude at the end of the month.
