Chicago Hounds vs Seattle SeaWolves Match Update

Major League Rugby takes every precaution possible with situations concerning player/fan safety. Due to lightning strikes in the local area, the Chicago Hounds vs. Seattle Seawolves fixture on Sunday, March 26, was delayed. Further lightning during the delay meant that the match could not be restarted in a safe and timely manner.
The MLR League Office, in consultation with the teams, was forced to abandon the match. In accordance with MLR policy, the result will stand with the final score being 5-27 and a victory awarded to the Seattle Seawolves.
