Chase away Winter Blues with Sting Fever

Syracuse, NY – The Syracuse Sting, women's professional football team are holding tryouts, with the first date this coming Saturday. Tryouts will be held on April 17th and 24th at The Ultimate Goal in Marcellus from noon to 3pm. There is a $40 tryout fee that covers both dates. Come ready to work out and sweat!

The Sting is entering its 4th season of professional football with two Eastern Division Titles in the WPFL and have the taste for the Championship in 2004. "We've been working really hard to put a great product on the field," said owner Cabrina Gilbert, "We feel pretty confident that this is the year of the BEE!"

All builds, body types and skill levels are welcome. "WE TEACH YOU FOOTBALL" is the mantra for pre-season. Everyone 18 and older (there is a 70 year old woman in Florida playing!!) is invited to tryout and live women's sports history.
