Charlie Dennis Named to Team of the Week

FC Tucson midfielder Charlie Dennis has been named to the USL League One Team of the Week presented by Cleer Audio for Week 29 of the 2021 regular season.

Dennis had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Forward Madison.

Forward Kevin Rodriguez was brought down in the box by Forward Madison defender Eric Leonard in the 15th minute. Dennis stepped up to the spot and converted the penalty putting FC Tucson in the lead.

Less than ten minutes later, Dennis sent a a quick through ball to Rodriguez. Rodriguez beat two defenders in the box to score Tucson's second goal.

Dennis continued his good run of form during the night with three shots, three key passes, and completing 25 of 39 passes.

FC Tucson is 10-10-7 and is seventh in USL League One. The club returns home for its final game of the regular season Saturday. A win for FC Tucson would clinch a playoff spot.
