Philadelphia Charge News Release

VILLANOVA, PA (July 16, 2002) - The Philadelphia Charge and Dunkin Donuts have joined forces to donate 200 tickets to the Philadelphia Department of Park and Recreation's Inner-City Soccer Camp for the Charge's game on Saturday, July 20 against the Carolina Courage.

The camp, which is located in West Philadelphia, gives kids who live in the city the opportunity to participate in soccer. The Charge and Dunkin Donuts worked together to donate the tickets to give the children the opportunity to come out to Villanova Stadium to catch a game they might not otherwise be able to see.

Saturday's contest begins at 4 pm and fans are invited to go to Maytag's Autograph Alley after each game to get autographs from your favorite Charge players. Maytag's Autograph Alley is located along the fence directly behind the players' bench.

The Charge are very active throughout the Delaware Valley year round. Recently, the club donated $1,500 to the Ronald McDonald House and $10,000 to the Breast Health Institute. In addition, players are constantly conducting free soccer clinics and hosting camps on a daily basis.
