Championships have official hotels

The National Women's Football Association, the largest full contact football league in the world for women, has announced the official hotels for the 2004 World Championship Game on July 31, 2004.

The Best Western Hotel, owned and operated by Gregg James and located at 1921 Bishop Lane will serve as one of the official hotels and in addition to hosting one of the championship teams, will also host the players reception on Friday, July 30th. "We are pleased to be working with such great people as Wendy Watson and know that our players and fans will have a great time at this site," states VP Debby Lening.

The Executive Inn located at 978 Phillips Lane will also serve as one of the official hotels of the Championship Game. "This is a great facility and our players and fans will definitely enjoy their stay at this property. Mary Alice Greenamyer, Sales Manager, has been wonderful to work with and we're looking forward to having our fans and players stay at this property, " Lening adds.

The NWFA's 4th World Championships at The Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will be held Saturday, July 31st at 7:00pm. The top two teams out of the 37 teams playing in the 2004 season will play for the World Championship title. Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com or at the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium ticket office.

"We have received a great deal of support from the City of Louisville and are working very closely with the Louisville Sports Commission, the Visitors and Convention Bureau and many top corporations based out of Louisville to make this an outstanding event. We expect to bring in twice as many fans as we did last year at Vanderbilt," states NWFA VP, Debby Lening.
