The National Lacrosse League and VERSUS have announced the start time for the live national telecast of the league's 2007 NLL Championship Game presented by Edge Active Care. The Championship Game will air live on VERSUS across the US on Saturday, May 12th at 4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific. Championship Game television plans for viewers in Canada will be announced at a later date.
The live telecast will conclude the league's national telecast schedule on the network for the 2007 season, which included a National Lacrosse League "Game of the Week" for all sixteen weeks of the regular season.
The Champion's Cup Playoffs began this past weekend with the four Divisional Semifinal games. All NLL playoff games are single-elimination. The original field of eight playoff teams is now down to four. The East and West Divisional Final games take place this weekend, as Rochester hosts Buffalo in the East and Arizona hosts San Jose in the West. The winners of the Divisional Finals will advance to the NLL Championship Game.
