October 11, 2016 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF)
Dallas Marshals News Release
Dallas TX: Champions Indoor Football is proud to announce their regular season schedule for the 2017 campaign. Four more teams have recognized the professionalism and vision of the CIF with the addition of four new markets. Bismarck, ND, Kansas City, MO, St Louis, MO and Western Michigan will all call the CIF home for the 2017 season.
Twelve games will be played by each of the sixteen teams for a total of 192 contests being played between late February and early June. With 16 teams in the mix, the league will implement three-rounds of playoffs featuring 8 teams (top 2 teams from each of the 4 divisions). "We are so excited for 2017 and proud of the CIF's growth over the last year, in an environment where leagues in our industry are shrinking we have been able to build a successful model that allows for great competition with a successful business model all in one", stated CIF commissioner Randy Sanders.
