CEBL, SAUGA 960 AM Launch National Radio Partnership

The Canadian Elite Basketball League and Sauga 960 AM radio announced Thursday the creation of the "CEBL Game of the Week on Sauga960", featuring 11 regular season weekend games plus playoff matchups that will include all seven CEBL teams. The games will be livestreamed on www.sauga960am.ca across Canada at no cost to listeners.

The schedule tips off Saturday when the Hamilton Honey Badgers visit the defending CEBL champion Edmonton Stingers in a game that begins at 2 p.m. Mountain Time, (4 p.m. ET). That will be followed by a special Canada Day broadcast when the Honey Badgers travel to the nation's capital to take on the Ottawa BlackJacks on Thursday, July 1 at 2 p.m. Eastern time.

The "CEBL Game of the Week on Sauga960" will deliver games to a national audience all seven weekends of the 2021 regular season. The CEBL Championship game, scheduled for Sunday, August 22 at 2 p.m. Mountain time (4 p.m. ET), will also be broadcast on Sauga 960. Sports fans can also catch the weekly North Pole Hoops program, with CEBL broadcaster Jason Thom, each Saturday afternoon before the CEBL Game of the Week on Sauga960".

A league created by Canadians for Canadians, the CEBL has the highest percentage of Canadian players of any professional league in the country, with approximately 80 percent of its team rosters being Canadians. Players bring experience from the NBA, NBA G League, top international pro leagues, the Canadian National team program, and top NCAA and U SPORTS programs.
