Casey's All-Star Classic to include Fan Fest and Kids Camp

Omaha, NE - Fans of all ages will have a chance to interact with United Indoor Football (UIF) All-stars during the Casey's All-Star Classic in Bloomington, IL, August 16-18. A community Kids Camp will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, August 17 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum. Immediately following the camp is Fan Fest from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Kids participating in the camp will receive instruction directly from All-Star players and coaches in several skill areas. Participants will also be acknowledged during the August 18 All-Star game. Fan Fest will be a great opportunity to get All-Star autographs and interact with the players at different stations. There will also be skills competitions between Eastern Conference and Western Conference kickers and quarterbacks. The first 200 attending Fan Fest will also receive the first strip of trading cards.
A press luncheon will be held Thursday, August 16 over the noon-hour to give local media an opportunity to interview All-Star players and coaches. Thursday evening will be the VIP Awards Banquet at 7 p.m. Honors and awards announced in the past few weeks will be presented to players and team personnel. They will be entertained by national inspirational humorist Steve Kissell who will present Surving Life With Laughter.
All-Stars and other UIF players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in the VidSwap.com Combine Saturday, August 18 from 9 a.m. to noon. The All-Star game featuring the Eastern Conference All-Stars against the Western Conference All-Stars will kickoff at 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Tickets are available through the U.S. Cellular Coliseum box office at (309) 434-2679.
