Willis fouled out and Lappin struck out to end the inning but the Pride ran the score to 6-0.

Pride continued to stretch their lead assisted by a Diamonds' error in the sixth inning scoring three. Watly started this inning off with another walk. Lowe stole second base followed by Sandburg being walked to load the bases. Bruder was brought in to pinch-hit for Kretschman. Bruder hit one back to Bunner who took the out at first, which allowed Watley to score. Charters then hit to third base, which was being covered for the first time this Season by DiSalvatore, who threw wide to first base committing an error and allowing both Lowe and Sandburg to score giving the Pride their final 3-run inning of the game and moving the score to 9-0.

The Diamonds succeeded at holding the Pride in the top of the seventh, but were unable to score any runs in a late game attempt in the bottom of the inning. DiSalvatore started off with a walk, and then stole second base. After Folden and Locke fail to reach, Osterman issued a walk to Mejia for 2 on with 2 outs.
