Cape Fear Heroes to Hold Open Player Tryouts

The Cape Fear Heroes, Fayetteville North Carolina's professional indoor football team will be holding player tryouts on Saturday February 13th at 10:00 AM at the Crown Arena in the Crown Complex . Registration will begin at 9:00 am. The tryout fees are $55 in advance and $65 the day of the event. Perspective players can go to the Heroes website and click on the tryout tab fill out the player questionnaire and bring it and a picture ID with them to the tryout. You can also prepay by using the PayPal tab on the tryout page of the Heroes website.
Players will need to wear tennis shoes or turf shoes (no cleats) and shorts and a t-shirt as the tryout is indoors on artificial turf. Testing will be non-contact and consist of the 40 yard dash, short shuttle, vertical leap, bench press and various individual skill drills.
Individuals interested in being a Heroes volunteer or intern should attend the tryout at 11:00 am.
