Cane Cutters fall to Bombers, 10-4 on Friday
The Acadiana Cane Cutters dropped their first series of the season after a 10-4 loss to the Brazos Valley Bombers on Friday at Fabacher field.
Cane Cutters head coach Austin Flores said his team didn't play well.
"We flat out sucked tonight," Flores admitted.
The Bombers started off strong with four runs in the first inning. Acadiana scored a run in the first inning but was silent for all but the fifth inning where they put up three.
Acadiana tallied seven hits on 33 at bats with two RBI's.
The Cane Cutters return to action tomorrow night as they travel to Plano take on the Texas Marshals. They return home on Wednesday to take on the same Texas Marshals.
